that's one weak response. Time will tell. i've been throught this same deal. Fresh engine, everything new on it, another $600.00 spent on a water pump that failed AFTER the engine was installed into the car. 10 minutes on the highway, and the temp. gauge shoots up. turn it off, coast off highway, call the shop. they say "loosen radiator cap, false air pocket reading". i do that, reading goes normal, i start driving it back to shop, it runs F-cked up...i pull off road again. Long story short...2 cylinders, very weak compression. they blame "hot florida sun". i blame "sh!tty hose clamps on radiator hoses". But of course, it's on me... short story. i put more money in engine, forged pistons into short block, new HKS turbos. now i'll go over the entire engine to make sure it's right, before i even take it out for more than 10 minutes...i've already found loose clamps, hose very loose at 3 places for boost controller, 2 radiator leaks...lol. BEST OF LUCK, ROB...
